    The Financial Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:

    1. Acquisitions & Development - Supports SVP – Finance with analysis and due diligence related to new acquisitions and development including:

      • Preparing summary underwriting incorporating thoughtful competitive market analysis for initial evaluation of acquisition and development opportunities.
      • Producing detailed operating and capital projections and sensitivities throughout due diligence process; Modeling various financial structures and preparing IRR, NPV, cash on equity, and return on cost projections.
      • Assisting with coordination of due diligence process by cataloguing due diligence data received from target and disseminating relevant due diligence documents to key internal and external stakeholders. Responsible for analyzing financial-related due diligence.
      • Assisting with data collection and analysis of third party appraisals.
      • Assisting with presentations to new potential capital sources/lenders.
      • Monitoring performance in comparison to underwriting through to closing and post-closing portfolio management.
      • Preparing closing statements.
      • Building financial models and improves upon existing models through Excel automation.
      • Building detailed market research discipline as well as transactions and equity databases to monitor relevant transactions in the industry and potential capital sources.
      • Compiling detailed maps and profiles for competitors and feeder hospitals for current portfolio and prospective acquisition targets.
      • Other ad hoc analysis as needed.

      Portfolio Management - Supports SVP – Finance on analysis and reporting related to existing business including:

      • Conducting analysis related to refinancing & recapitalization opportunities.
      • Assisting in preparation of periodic internal valuations of all facilities and portfolios.
      • Assisting with due diligence for and review of third party external appraisals.
      • Assisting with packaging financial projections and budgets for certificate of need applications.
      • Tracking original underwritten proformas to actual and budgeted performance.
      • Assisting with presentations to existing lenders and potential new financing sources.
      • Reviewing quarterly covenant calculations and preparing covenant projections based on current forecast projections.nitoring cost of credit for all existing facilities and portfolios.
      • Monitoring covenant compliance with all financing documents.
      • Assisting in documenting/abstracting key financing documents.
      • Tracking interest rate trends on an on-going basis.
      • Other Ad hoc analysis as needed including assisting operations team with evaluating new business opportunities and value-adds.


    Position Requirements:

    • Eligible for employment in the U.S.

      • Prior internship and / or work experience in senior healthcare preferred.
      • Proficiency in building a fully integrated financial model and running scenario analyses.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
      • Ability to create and update VBA and Excel Macros to fully automate processes for modeling and reporting purposes.
      • Working knowledge of Oracle preferred.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation ability are essential to synthesize information, make assumptions, and present key findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
      • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy along with ability to multitask and prioritize.
      • Ability to plan ahead, anticipate potential problems, and react nimbly.
      • BS in Finance / Accounting and / or BA in Economics preferred.
