    Now Hiring – REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF REHABILITATION-MASS – MUST BE SLP, OTR OR PT- 5 YEARS+ MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE- FULLTIME


    CAREONE-MASSACHUSETTS

     

    The Regional Director of Rehabilitation Services is responsible for the day to day coordination and oversight of all aspects of the rehabilitation services including physical, occupational, speech services for the assigned region. The Regional Director of Rehabilitation is responsible for the clinical oversight in a manner that supports the goals of the designated facility(s) while meeting federal and state regulations, as well as state specific practice acts. 

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Establishes clinical and operational standards for the practice of all rehabilitation services.
    2. Hires and coordinates staffing for all facilities to meet the needs of all programs, patients/residents.
    3. Develops programs consistent with the clinical and operation goals of the company and the individual facilities.
    4. Coordinates rehabilitation service delivery in a cost efficient manner meeting all facility and corporate standards.
    5. Ensure the clinical competence of all rehabilitation supervisors, staff, of their respective discipline for all Care One/ HealthBridge Healthcare Facilities.
    6. Establishes clinical and operational goals on and annual basis in conjunction with operational budgets
    7. Evaluates and reports on performance to clinical and operational standards.
    8. Provides input to facility and corporate staff as indicated.
    9. Assists and directs in related educational needs for facilities and corporate staff.
    10. Directs/coordinates annual evaluation of department employees and provides input for staff evaluation by appropriate supervisors.
    11. Plans/coordinates ongoing education of all rehabilitation staff.
    12. Ensures appropriate utilization and appearance of designated exercise and rehabilitation space.
    13. Communicates effectively with Administrators, corporate staff, and department heads regarding department programs, problems, and successes.
    14. Assist in the planning and marketing of rehabilitation services.
    15. Adheres to corporate commitment to compliance and works with Vice President of Rehabilitation Education and Compliance on all education and compliance initiatives.
    16. Accesses and follows up with the Vice President of Rehabilitation.
    17. Performs other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Professional Requirements:

    • Actively licensed therapist as a Speech Language Pathologist, Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist within the state of operations
    • Bachelor's Degree in Physcial or Occupational Therapist or a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
    • Prefer multi-year experience managing multiple rehabilitation personnel
    • Prefer-experience in long term care facilities.
    • Prefer-experience managing cost and productivity.
    • Prefer 3-5 years management experience.
    • JCAHO, CARF Accreditation experience.
    • INDC1
